Chandlier

By heideleland, 22 May, 2008
Description

We know almost nothing about this chandlier, it is handing in the master bathroom of a home we just purchased. The home itself is very interesting as it was custom built to look like a Swiss Chalet and it's in the Galveston Bay area of Texas. We are planning to completely remodel and update the master bathroom. We do not know if the chandlier has any value but think it is quite nice. The home has been vacant for over a year and the chandlier is very dusty. We do not know what it is made of to clean it properly. It appears that the drop pieces are crystal as a rainbow of color is noticed when light shines in over the chandlier from a skylight. I have attached several pictures and have more if needed. The center shaft is gold/brass in color and the body where it is more intricate is a silver light color.

I just bought a home and it is hanging in the bathroom. The home was custom built in the early 70's to resemble a swiss chalet. I do not know if it was original or if it was installed later. The home has been vacant for over a year and the light is very dusty.
