Description
I bought this teddy bear at an anitque store. Tag says designed by Character. Back of tag says Cloth content. 100% Mohair Backing 100% cotton. Looking for history possible year worth is a bouns but not a huge concern for me. I don't know much else on this bear. Any further information would help. Previous owner may possibly be from Tompkins County New York

Based on your description and the label, this bear is not an antique, but a limited edition bear made Circa 2000 by Charter Club for Macy's department store. They often sell for less than what you paid on ebay.

Thank you. I'm going to add a picture of the tag. It's rather old looking. But then again. I didn't know Character was still making bears in 2000. Since the company owner died in 1983. Plus most bears now a days aren't made with mohair.

this bear has little value and is not that old. older bears are around the turn of the centry . i see a bunch of them that sold for 8-15$ each
