Trunks of this type were

Trunks of this type were "made for export" pieces, most were made from the late 19th century throught the 1920's and sold to tourists and service men. Similar pieces are still in production, but even the early eaxples are still modestly priced. most comparable trunks sell for less than $400.00 today.

Yes i tought they were made for tourist by the logo inside still i find it beautiful but it will need restoration.
