Description
Looking for someone to help me understand if this is something worth trying to sell or should just be taken to the thrift store. My mom and grandma are deceased and unavailbale for insights, aunts do not recall piece and dad only remembers that it came from mom's family. Photos show an accurate depiction of a dichotomous display case with three glass panels (of which only the middle opens) and three wooden panel doors (of which I believe the two outer are doors). The piece is not as deep relief as the pictures imply, but a great deal of it is solid and the bottom panels are all wood.

I believe the style of your china cabinet is what was referred to as Mediterraian and was popular in the 1960's-early 70's. Whether you should sell it or not depends on whether you think it's worth your effort or whether you'd rather donate it and take the tax deduction. You might be able to sell it for around $200, depending on where you live. It's not a very popular style right now, so I'm inclined to think you couldn't ask much more than that. A consignment shop probably would put that kind of price on it and keep about 40% if it sold. Good luck. Hope this helps a little. Making a decision about items that include family memories isn't always easy.

Thank you for the feedback. Not exactly what I was looking forward to hearing but I started realizing it wasn't some timeless piece when I tried describing it for this post. I am open to a second opinion if only so I don't make a big mistake. (already made HUGE consolations on a '55 Chevy that was in worse shape than I thought) Thanks again.
