Description
I have 8 of each, plate, salad plate, saucer, bowl. 7 tea cups, 1 serving platter, 1 oval serving bowl(has been chipped and glued back), 1 round serving bowl, and 1 gravy boat with attached plate. Says it is Isabella pattern. Would like to know more about it including value?
Re: china set
I think you have just solved a bit of a mystery perhaps? Can you email me much more detailed photos of the set?
I have a similar stamp and have been working it,

My current educated guess is that this stamp is:
possibly: Arnart Imports Inc.
I believe Jan-Erik Nilsson to be quite possibly the leading expert in his field alive at this time, and not discounting smithsonian experts.
I however disagree with the: "955. Arnart Imports Inc., Royal Carlton, was registred for porcelain tableware, in 1957; Royal Crown was registred for use on animal and bird figures 1965 - 1987. Several similar 'Royal' marks with a crown and a brand mark exists, all from the second half of the 20th century."
I believe the pieces to be earlier however done on very short run production orders and by now almost forgotten "importers."

If you email me I will let you know what information I can gather on the
"James Japanese China."
I would like to see the "shape similarities" between the pieces that I have and that you have, examine the mark/stamp more closely, and finally see if there was a trademark name registry for the pieces.
my email is info "at" mvpantiques
The higher the resolution of the images the better.
