Description

This page was part of an origion book of about 30 different scenes in which the Chinese charactors (Lohans) who have special powers and assist others.  There is a book with this art work that looks identical to this in the National Palace Museum in China.

We think that there is not very many of these as we have ben able to find out very little about this painting.

The text is written in golg ink and the figures are drawn with a single hair brush, the work is very delicate.  I did not want to take the frame apart so the photo does not so it justice I'm afraid.

There is a sinular leaf and more information at www.npm.gov.tw/english/exhbition/edon0104/a/pictures/p01.jpg
