Description
Carved from Abalone shell and what appears to be Jade.
There are 5 different birds, magnificent flowers and a tree on the top right hand side. It is rather large coming measuring at 43 1/4" by 23 11/16" (framework) and 18"x37.5" art only. There is a signature on the top left hand side and I believe it to be in Chinese? Not sure who the artist or date is, as I am unable to read it.
Can the artist be identified and the date of origin, or possibly even a rough estimate of the value of this piece?
