This antique Chinese vase looks very old. It is made of some sort of ceramic pottery. Unfortunately someone used this vase for a lamp or something else, and there are three holes in it. One hole on the top of the vase's lid, one hole at the bottom side, and one hole in the bottom of vase right through some of the Chinese markings. Other than that, this vase is in very good condition. And the detail on it is amazing. It was definitely hand painted, and all of the art on it was done one dot at a time, and you can feel each dot. I'm not sure what this type of art is called. It also has several blue and red flowers on it done the same way. I did a little research, and the top right Chinese letter on the marking represents either the Ming or Qing Dynasty. Again, being this detailed, with millions of bumps or dots on it for the artwork, it was must have taken a long time to make, and I would think it was made for someone important. I was just wondering if anyone knows how old this piece is, and it's value, with and without the holes in it. It's a very beautiful ceramic vase, and I will be happy either keeping it or selling it.
