This is a Jar that was gave to my Grandfather when he was Seventeen and living in Hollywood, there was a Ninety year old woman who lived next door that he helped open her door every day. For two years he helped this old woman, and when he moved the woman gave him this jar as a gift...she was said to be the Cousin of Ronald Reagan and now my Grandfather is Seventy Nine....and that is all I know I hope to find out more about this Jar.

Great story behind the piece. Dating chinese porcelain can take a lifetime of dedication to become an expert. With that said, I should be able to point you in the right direction regarding age/dynasty with photos of the markings on the bottom. It could take hours of searching databases, but I will do my best. If I can't find anything definitive I'll point you in the direction of one of those lifetime devotee experts.
