Description
This piece was given to me after my grandmother passed away in 1998. The fabric is blue satin and the thread feels soft like silk. The theme seems to be related to the Chinese New Year. There are eleven red basket like circles that each represent every Chinese Zodiac sign. One of the red basket like animals had his head and tail removed so it now only appears as a red basket. The dragons are larger towards the bottom so I am guessing perhaps the year of the dragon?
