Your vase is Chinese, most likely pre-cultural revolution and from the late 19th c to about 1915....the mark reads "Qianlong Nian Zhi" or Qianlong Period Made....It looks like a nice piece.  The Chinese have used this mark as late as today, although newer marks are less elaborate, so would need some closer inspection, to really verify the age.  The Qianlong period was actually from 1765- 1790 give or take a few years, but these pieces were made much later.  A real Qianlong mark of that period would have had addtional character marks, to indicate it was by order of the Emperor.   I would price it under $200.
