<p>This painting is in fair condition. Not sure of the artist cannot find seal or mark. mineral dye of some sort was used instead of traditional paint, the colors are still vivid. I think that these are fairies in this particular piece. I believe this is considered brush art..not sure. The surface shows signs of cracking and there is a quarter sized black mark in the upper right corner, was told it is from the aging of this item. The back of the piece has a board used for mounting and it is covered with a thin goldish paper with circular designs like symbols on back in straight rows. Moisture has apparently been present the dye on the paper on back has running marks from moisture . Frame is also old and possibly handmade.</p><p>cannot figure out artist... found out maybe northern china was this items original origin.</p>
