Chirping Sake Set

Description

This is a complete set, with markings on the bottom that I have not been able to identify.  The cups are with lithopane of a Geisha Girl. At first I thought it to be Kutani, but as I said, the marking on the bottom of the Sake pitcher is unlike the Kutani markings I have found. Also, the paint seems to be different.  There is a gold bird at the top and it whistles or tweets like birds when you pour from it.  It looks like dragonware, but I am really not sure.  My son asked me to help find the value.  It is currently not for sale until we get more information about it, so any information I can get would be very helpful.  It appears to be in excellent condition. The pitcher stands about 6 inches tall. Can any one help on this?

Looks like a modern Japanese, at most 50 years old.

The color and lack of a high quality painting are telltale signs

Thank you for taking time to comment.  Do you have any idea on the value? At almost 50 years of age (we knew it was old, but not that old) I would hope it would be worth a little something.

I would give a value of 50 dollars at most. Japanse porcelain and Japanese objects are not that popular. Even Japanese plates from the Meiji period are only worth about 30 dollar
