I own 610 pieces Christofle of France silver plated cutlery, Baguette pattern , which is a pattern used by Christofle between 1935 and 1983. The items I own were manufactured in the late 70's early 80's as I was informed by the last owner.
The items consist of the following :
- 185 dinner knives, ( size: 9 5/8 inches)
- 147 fruit knives, ( size: 8 inches )
- 127 dinner forks, ( size: 8 1/2 inches )
- 114 fruit fork, ( size: 7 3/8 inches )
- 37 table spoon. ( size: 8 1/2 inches )
The items were procured from an upscale restaurant that closed down its business. They show slight traces of usage otherwise in very good condition.
They all have the manufacturer "Christofle" name engraving as well as Christofle hallmark.
To my knowledge , the Baguette pattern is no longer being produced by Christofle since 1983 and was replaced by a nearly similar pattern named Fidelio in 1992.
