Description

What I am told..this is a copper black powder container.  Apparently it was recovered from Johnston's camp @ Picket's Mill.  It was to hold the black powder that goes in the cannon's.  It must be rare, because i can't seem to find any information about copper black powder kegs/cans.  If anyone has any information to add about what this is, I would appreciate it.

I don't think it was for cannon powder, this container is too small. The kegs were generally wood barrels as can be seen here:
