Description I was recently given this piece of family history by my father in order to determine its value. It's a silver (not yet polished) Ash tray and Matchbox holder gift from Claridge's, the likes of which were apparently gifted to royalty and celebrities, but also to senior staff on retirement. Sadly the box and the certificate with his name on are now long-lost. I've not found any evidence of similar items being sold via eBay, and extensive searching has recovered no information. Perhaps I'm searching for the wrong things. Any information in regards to its value appreciated. (Update: My dad also tells me they were designed by a famous art-deco artist, but there are no apparent signature's or evidence to support this on the item) Many thanks. - Red
