Description

I purchased this Violin in a Estate sale and know very little about it. It does not have a bow,  case and is missing the bridge, strings and has a few small scratches. I hope my pichures can allow you to capture enough.   Looking in the slot I can read a lable that says:

Re-constructed by Valentine G. Mc Murry, San Jose, California, 1944 .

Violin Maker  to the CONSERVATORY of the COLLEGE OF THE PACIFIC

I am interested in first, finding out if anyone from these pitcures can identify anything about it and then let me know if it is wise to try and remove the lable inside that is most likely hidding the valuable info about this piece. Also, I live in Northern Ca. and would like a referal to someone who would be able to make repairs.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Leonard Foust
