Clown figurine - need info

Description

I don't know anything about this figurine. I tried looking it up on the web and couldn't find anything about it. I have a picture of the sleeve that the figure was in.

Sitting in an uncle's closet for a long time. Hoping some one can tell me something about it. Is it worth anything?

Most of these clowns I've seen date no earlier than the 1980's and were made in Italy. The better ones were well marked and sold as limited edition collectibles, but to this date have failed to attain much value as collectibles. The unlabeled ones tend to be Asian knock offs of the Italian examples.
