Re: Colonial Manufacturing Company grandfather clock
Hi there, I have the same model number but mine is brown wood.. has yours been painted? Mine also has three weights that hang inside....do you have yours? I bought mine recently at a resale shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I paid $136 for it; it was originally listed at $225 but it had been there for over 5 months, so the price was reduced 5 times. The middle chain was stuck on the rivet wheel, but I was able to fix it. I have to figure out how to fix the hour chime... if it's 5 o'clock, it'll chime 11 times instead of 5, etc... I am wondering, too, what it is worth and what year it was produced... let me know where you got yours and if you found out any information on it! Thanks, Heidi
