Re: Concho belt
Little note about me, I am Shoshone Native American, In the 1960 and 70s I did Silversmithing in New Mexico. Around the Grants NM area. This Navajo Concho buckle and conchos that you have are the most basic of the belts. also you only 8 conchos most have 10 to 15 some more. also the ones that demand the most money are signed and have stones. some are Sand Casted. and then stamped my hand, you know what ones are hand stamped. because there will be lots of markings that dont line up, mechine made are all the same. the edges will show file marks. With that said. I think your Buckle and conchos are worth about $150.00 to $200.00. (please do not scrap for silver) If they were mounted on a belt and you had more conchos add $50.00 to that. If they were singed and had stones, Add $1000.00.
remember things are only worth what your willing to take for them...good luck.
