History unopened deck of congress playing cards. exact year is presently unknown but it should be found on the ace of spades. i would guess at least one hundred years old. found cleaning out wifes grandfathers basement. very famous maker before they became american playing card company and before they did bicycle and bee.

Your deck of Congress Cards were first printed in 1913 and are a named deck, " Woodland "

Printed in two different but similar back designs. One with a plain border and the one pictured that also has the name WOODLAND printed on the bottom of the card back.
