This is an oil on canvas copy, signed "A. Werner."  It is in very good condition and is in fact an excellent copy.

I was wondering if you have found out any information about this painting. My grandfather left behind this same painting. All I know is that he purchased it in Germany while stationed there. Thank you!

I don't know anything about mine, but i did see another copy on the internet (maybe it was yours? on imgur?) The face on my copy is much more serious than the other, which almost looks like it's smiling. But same exact signature. Also, the same artist painted a beautiful copy of "Grace" which sold at auction somewhere for $300.
