Description
this chair was given to me from my brother in law. He refinished it and had it reupholstered. So if it has a company name it would be inside the bottom cover which I did not want to remove. It has tiny white casters on the legs, which I believe are the original castors. He had a hobby of buying and refinishing antiques. I was wondering if this is indeed an antique and what value it would possibly have.
Re: Corner chair
This one dates from the turn of the 19th Century, about 1895. similar chairs can be found in old Sears- Roebuck and Montgomery ward catalogs from the 1890's. This ones been nicely redone, but demand is currently weak for Victorian furniture. For this one $150.00 at auction.
