Description This is a lovely example of Meriden early work has beautiful scalloped edges with filigree work done on the scallops I believe this is a piece that was ordered by the family and is know as black silver as its contents are just about 100% pure silver. These pieces are usually passed down through the family but it is these points i wish to check on for sure. see pictures below. i am looking for a value on this piece. The enameled dish would need to be re enameled as it has worn through on two spots. The dish on the whole is in very good condition.I would like to sell it once i can establish its worth.
