Crocker Chair Co. Rocking Chair

By Khristna, 27 May, 2014
Description

This is an antique Crocker Chair Co. rocking chair.  It has the orignal label and seems to be rare.  I have found countless other "models" by this company, but not this particular model.  I would like to know how much it is worth and any other information. Thanks!

Re: Crocker Chair Co. Rocking Chair

Your chair is in the "MissionStyle' which was highly popular during the early years of the 20th century until about World War One. Most are made of fumed oak with a dark finish, values depend a great deal on the makers, the ones by the best known companies such as Stickley, Limbert and Roycroft being the most sought after. Examples like yours often go for about $150.00 at auction.
