I inherited this set, a 1918 wedding gift, from an elderly relative, about 25 years ago. It includes service for 8 (dinner plates, tea cups and saucers, square [dessert?] plates, shallow soup bowls) plus 1 oval serving platter, 2 serving bowls, 3 small (bread and butter?) dishes, creamer, and three small (butter pat?) dishes. The set is in exquisite condition, but mostly is on display in my china cabinet...doesn't get much use!

Re: Crooksville China blue laurel, gold trim - dinner set for...
I have the same exact set, complete with extras. Crooksville operated between 1902 and 1959. My set reads #545, was probably purchased in the 1940's or 1950's. How do you know yours was from 1918?
