This antique curio cabinet was given to me by my grandmother. I am not yet if it’s origin nor it’s value. It does have all of the original hardware and the original curved glass. It has not been refinished or modified in any way if anyone has an idea of how much it is worth, it’s origin, etc, I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you!

Very odd looking piece, looks like it's been altered, newer top and base on a late 19th century bow front cabinet. This sometimes happens when a piece has been damaged or an attempt has been made to modernize and older piece. We'd retail one like this for about $400.00

Thank you for your input. I am not sure of the history of this piece as I inherited it from my grandmother. Good advice that it may have been altered.
