Wow. Pretty! Jean Daum started producing crystal glassware in 1878 at Nancy, France. He won the Paris Grande Prix (for artistic glasware, not driving! ) during the expo in 1900. His sons took over the business and carried it on. They started producing glassware like this during world war II. You appear to have a Madonna figurine, the signature and size are right for it to be real! Daum Glassware sells for between $100 to $900. I'd place yours at about $200-$300 as it seems to be his son's work rather than his (post WWII) and a simpler figure. The more colorful pieces tend to sell better too. For insurance I'd set the figure to $500, remember you have to include the cost of finding a replacement!) But get another opinion! This type of work is very subjective in nature and prices change constantly!
