Dayton Scales

Description It is about 3 feet high. It has a piece of glass of course where the weight is shown. There is a really thick piece of oval glass in the front to which the items are placed to weight. There is a metal plate at the top on front and back which says Dayton Scales and underneath that Dayton, Ohio. I haven't found a date of it but I do know when it was used. There is also a metal plate just under that with some sort of design on it. The piece is in need of some repair. My mother has had it sitting outside this whole time so there is metal on the upper portion where you read the scales that needs repaired. I was just wondering if it was worth my time and trouble to get it restored. I have not been able to find a serial number as of yet.
