Description
This plate was given to my mother from her late mother-in-law on her way back from a trip to China in the early twentieth century. It is in very good condition and has a stamp on the back that we cannot identify as it is in Japanese or Chinese. Can anyone identify this or know anything about this plate?

It's Chinese and probably predates 1949 when the Communists took over China. It would probably retail for about $60.00 - $80.00.
