I picked this piece up this week. I'm trying to find an appraisal value and line name so I can search for more pieces. It's called the dependable line from statesville furniture from North Carolina. It's stamped with 285 and the number 4 craved in the back other then that I have no more info. Can you help?

There is very little information on this company, other than it made inexpensive furniture during the 1920's. You'd  probably have to search Stateville's Historical Society for more information http://www.preservationstatesville.org/statesville-historical-collection.html

In regards to value, currently at auction comparable dressers often go for under $150.00.
