Desk, mfgr: Johnson-Hadley-Johnson Co.

By [email protected], 20 June, 2010
Description

This desk was in my Grandmother's house since at least 1964. It is in good condition and is well made. I don't know if she bought it new or got it second hand. It is too big for my Dad's house, so we are considering selling it. Any information about a reasonable appraisal would be appreciated.

Re: Desk, mfgr: Johnson-Hadley-Johnson Co.

This is a Colonial Revival style piece made during the second quarter of the 20th Century, it's loosely patterned after English " William & Mary" furniture. In antique stores comparable desks retail in the $600.00- $800.00 range.
