Description Unknown history beyond getting it at a antique shop in North Carolina. It has a stamp on the underside of the table on the sliding mechanism that is hard to make out but what is still visible says this: "The Watertown Slide" Manufactured by Watertown Slide Co. Watertown, Wisconsin T No. 626 747 Pat. N It also has numbers burned into the wood of the sliding mechanism. A different number is burned in on either side. One number is 305 and the other is 2530
