Dining Room Table

By mortilangel, 16 November, 2009
Description

The table was purchased in 1990 in Sydney Australia. It is Victorian, made of Brazilian Mahogany of heavy contruction with double worm screw mechanical winder. It has 3 leaves that are inserted in the center of the table when the table is spread open ( in very good working condition) each leaf is 22inches, this will bring the total length of the table to 127 inches long and seats 12 people very comfortably.

The chairs are made of mahogany also. They came with the table.

Unfortunalty, to help my mom out, she has had this in a temperature controled storage since we lost our house to foreclosure about 9 years ago, I have taken them out of storage and stored them in a house I bought. Due to lack of space, I had to set the table upside down on another table. I have taken a picture of one of the leaves to show the color of the table on the top side.
