Re: Dog boot scraper

Most of these we see today are modern reproductions made since the 1970's of the 19th century originals. If it is a copy it would sell for about $50.00.

Genuine Antique Cast Iron DACHSHUND Boot Scraper

Notice the style of the scraper on the back? how it is long and connected to the tail and head. This style is the best, But still not worth a ton of cash. Lovejoy's $50.00 is right on to what you can expect to get for your Weiner.  Would have liked to see more photos on the bottom. is there a hole there?  Remember in the old days people took pride in what they made. Copys are crud and not well done, lots of slag on the mold ends.

If it is Genuine and has maker's marks, could ask a little more for it.
