Description

This basket has baffled me for a long time.  I would love to know its origin and purpose.  It has two hinged lids, bamboo feet and a grate of some sort inside.  There are interesting woven diamond shaped designs on the sides.  It is a woven splint.  If you have ever seen one  or know anything about  this basket please let me know.  i also have no idea of its value.  Thanks for taking a look!
