Description Japanese Lithopane tea set with sad geshia girl in bottom of cups.Real gold redish brown finish with a raised dragon on the tea pot,creamer,sugar pot. The handle of each item is the dragons tail,with raised white ceramics dots along the tail. Also has pictures of the japanese gods painted on each piece. The dragons head is at the top of the tea,creamer,sugar tops with real gold on top of the dragons head. The set consist of a large tea pot,a creamer,sugar bowl,6 cups with the sad geisha girl image in the bottom of each cup,only 5 saucers and 6 desserts plates with pictures of the gods and real gold all over. This set was never used it is like new.

Dragonware was made in huge quantities of which much of it survives to this day. The bulk of it was brought back by returning soldiers from WW2 and Korea. Comparable sets still sell for about $150.00. Lovejoy
