Trish, Is the design a raised piece of wood? If so it looks very similar to a bedroom suite that I just posted. Look at Bedroom Suite dated 6-25-13. The design is a different shape but the way it is placed on the furniture is so similar. I have not been able to find this look anywhere else.

Dressers like this were made during the second quarter of the 20th Century, they look older than they are because they are a mix of American Colonial and Federal styles. At auction they often go for $150.00 or less.
