I believe your piece is a buffet, appears to be quarter-sawn oak and from the photo appears in good condition. The raised scroll detail is really beautiful and seems in tact. The style resembles the Queen Anne look with gently curved legs and bowed front drawers. It is likely  from the late 1800's to 1900 time frame.  The drawer pulls seem to be original. It's a really lovely example of furniture from this period. If the drawers are in good working condition and you were to sell it, I would ask between $400-$450 for it, possibly $500, depending what the traffic will bear in your area of the county. Oak isn't the most poplar wood to furniture buffs here in the southeast, but this buffet has such beautiful detail, I think it would command that price here.
