"Drexel" began operations about 1903 if I remember correctly. The company became " Drexel Heritage" in 1974. Anything marked "Drexel" predates 1974. Drexel made a number of lines based on American furniture in Colonial and Chippendale style throughout its history. These sets were good quality, even at auction sets like this sell for over $800.00.
