Drexel Heritage "Brittany" Baker's Rack

Description

The "Brittany" baker's rack is primarily designed in the fruitwood (could be French walnut as in the matching inlaid tabletop), with brass banding around the wood shelves, and beautiful pewter wrought iron curvatures, with brass accents, supporting the shelves on each side. The top adornment is a hand-carved shell and leaf design centered in the middle of the curved wood "crown".

There is huge depreciation of modern furniture once it leaves the showroom, even more so 30 years onward. At auction comparable Bakers racks sell in the $500.00- $800.00 range.
