Re: drop leaf dining room table

This is a Federal Revival style drop leaf table of a type made 1925-50.
They were produced in huge numbers, and one could found in just about every middle class home during that period. These often sell at auction for under $200.00.

Do you have any idea of what kind of wood these are made of. I am not sure if it is mahogany, walnut or what? Thanks for your comments.

These are generally maple with walnut veneers on the top. The top of this one looks walnut the legs maple or birch.
