Description The table has a hand painted picture of the story of Sleeping Beauty on it with ornate painted flowers on the front and back of the chair, as well as the leafs of the table. Set was made by my husband's great, great grandfather sometime in the late 1800's for his daughter. The set has been passed on to each of the Freeman for the last two generations, ending with my mother-in-law who died in May. The cane on the seat of the chair has never been changed or replaced but is still in great condition. The type of wood is unknown to me but the set's still in great shape considering the age and use that it has seen.
