Duchin Creation Candelabras

By carmenjefferson, 7 July, 2013
Description

Pair 9 in tall "Sterling" & "Weighted" Stamped candelabras.  Top part is detachable to allow bottom part to be a candlestick for a taper candle.  Top portion has 5 openings for candles.

There is a dent on the bottom edge of one of them, due to the metal being so soft and my moving over the years.  Would it be worth having that repaired to increase the value? And what it might cost to repair it?

I am really just looking to get the value of them at this point and then will decide if I would like to repair and keep them or sell them.

I know people can sell items to be melted down as well, I really don't like that idea, I could use the money, but I don't feel they would really be worth much that way anyway, but really need some expert advice.

History
They were my Grandmothers. Used in a few weddings while she was running a catering business, so not a lot of sentimental value meaning they were not used in her wedding, but they were hers and I value them in that way and they are beautiful. No other significant history that I know of.
