Description I was told this is a Dutch marquetry drop front bombs desk, circa 1790. The makings on the back of each drawer and on desk itself is Indian Sanskrit.and they are numbers, all brass hardware and claw feet, from best I can tell has never been refinished,all pieces are intact, all joints are dove tail.only two blemishes on top, other then that no splits in wood,very solid and beautiful.
