Description

Don't know much about this item.  It was left to me after my Granddad passed in 2012.  He was 90 when he died.  My dad said this instrument was played by my Granddad and my Great Granddad.  I wanted to take it and have it cleaned up.  However, before I had anything done do it wanted to know if it was of any value other than sentimental.

Hohner-HARMONICA-ECHO-BELL-METAL-REEDS-MADE-IN-GERMANY- C cord.

Harmonicas like this sell  $5.00 to $50.00. you didn't mention if you had the box. looking at your photo I see what looks like rust?  1930s I think. I think all the worth in this harmonica is for family keepsake. I would'nt clean it, I would get a nice shadow box frame, and family photo as background and hang it on your wall and pass it down.

Thank you for your help.  I don't have the box it came in.  Yes, it does have rust on it.  I wasn't sure if I should have it cleaned and restored.  It was my Granddad's and I love your idea of having it put in a shadowbox frame.
