Economy Furniture Company, Austin Texas

By auntbda, 17 September, 2009
Description

Sofa measures 75" in length and 32" wide, bottom cushion measures 23" x 72" and back cushion measures 20" x 72" for a combined sleeping size when made into a bed is around 48" side with storage under bottom cushion for sheets, ect.. Fabric looks to be some kind of tweed in excellent condition except for a stain on bottom cushion. 4 upholstery buttons in tack across back cushion. Sides and back of sofa also in excellent condition. Frame and arms are made of solid oak with sculpted arm rests. Sides of sofa have original gun stock made of walnut and laced together in middle with a leather binding. Very minor wear on arms and legs of frame and no wood chips or damage. Rocker made of a yellow Naugahyde with brown embroidered duck on back. Frame solid wood with sculpted arm rest and walnut gun stock on sides of rocker. Wood has very minor wear and no wood chips, Naugahyde is excellent condition, I have not found any tears or seams coming apart, same for the green arm chair, only damage found is a very small almost unnoticeable spot on left side of bottom cushion by arm rest. Coffee table is also in excellent sturdy condition with minor wear and made of walnut and oak, measures 44" x 30" with gun stock on sides. This set is what I would describe as excellent condition but does need a good cleaning.
