Effanbee Doll - Churchill

Description

This doll to my knowledge has never been out of the box. It was bought at a store called the Doll Factory (most likely out of business, was located in NH) sometime in 1987-1988 by my grandfather.  The doll is a Limited Edition Winston Chuchill Effanbee. The cover of the box has been repaired as the glue let go of the plastic. It comes with a stand with engraved plate "Winston Churchill Limited Edition" The white plastic on the bottom of the stand has a been a bit scuffed up but I think thats just from being in the box for so long. The doll comes with hat and cigar both wrapped in plastic. I have not turned doll around to look at the back as I am unwilling to untie him from the box unless specifically asked, I do not wish to damage him. The doll also comes with an Effanbee booklet (which was folded in half and probably has been since purchase) which does feature this specific doll. He's listed as: Winston Churchill, No. 7641, 1984 16.5" tall with painted hair and eyes. My grandfather wishes to sell them but at the moment I'm just looking for an appraisal.
