It will need a physical appraisal to determine a value, from the images provided one can't tell if it's a serigraph, print or original. His originals can sell for over $5000.00 at auction, very few go for less than $1500.00.

i have a similar painting by ellenshaw called the abidding.that would be worth that much also?

It depends on if it's an original or a copy, which is why paintings really need a physical examination by a fine arts appraiser
