I bought this chair from a used furniture website a couple years ago. It is apparently of Moroccan origin. The back is about 4 feet tall and its seat is about 3x3 feet. As visible in the photo, there is embossing on the arms, seat, and back.

It's very hard to date these Morrocan pieces, as the new ones are constructed in much the same way as pieces made 100 years ago. We'd retail a comparable for about $150.00.
